In light of the recent election, members of our community are experiencing a variety of genuine emotions. We would like to take a moment to recognize those emotions and encourage students to utilize resources across campus including the counseling center. If you need more information on resources available or how to schedule an appointment, please visit towson.edu/counseling. We would also like to remind the campus community that we will continue to fight hate and injustice wherever it presents itself. If you are the victim of a hate crime or a bias incident, please report it at towson.edu/notattu. If you’re looking for a way to get involved on campus or with a cause that matters to you, we encourage you to utilize our online resource, involved@tu. If you want to get involved with the work that SGA is doing, please stop by our office, UU226 or visit our website at towsonsga.org. Our representatives are eager to meet with individuals or student organizations. If you would like to arrange a meeting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We would like to invite community members to our general assembly meetings, Tuesdays at 5pm in the Chesapeake rooms, and to our next Be Heard town hall on November 30th from 6-8pm in the Union.
We must continue to celebrate the beauty of diversity and work to ensure that this campus remains an inclusive, safe place, where differences can be settled and discussed through civil discourse. We’re the SGA, and we’ve got your back.
